Yes, it can change. Though a couple of months would be the first inch or two from your scalp. You look like you have 3-4 years of growth, judging by your length. Hair is dead once it grows out of the scalp, so technically your length can’t change texture, as texture happens below the scalp. If you have it wrapped up and drying, it’s simply drying in to the shape of the wrap. Much like braiding wet hair, and letting dry. If your hair was fuzzy but drying straight, you’ve likely had some curl and just didn’t realize it. Curl could also be popping out more due to different product or cutting it differently, especially if you’ve taken weight off. Could really be a number of things, but long, dead hair cannot change texture except in the feel of it, if it’s been over processed. I’m sure I’ll get someone telling me I’m wrong, but I’ve done hair for 30 years, and I’ve seen people texture change, as well as my own (through hormonal changes), and not one with long hair has went from straight to curly in a couple of months.
