The main thing I have an issue with is that Wednesday and to some extent the whole Addams family in this show are MEAN. If you look at past iterations of them they are actually quite decent and kind people at heart. Twisted an weird for sure, but still kind.

it's a horrible addams family interpretation. ignoring that....it's still full of extremely boring, one-note, shallow characterizations, plot, & writing, w/ worldbuilding so lackluster I dont know why Burton didn't just drop the outcast stuff & build a show around her terrorizing normies in a regular high school like god intended

OK thank you. Because in what world would Morticia and Wednesday be feudding on this level? The horror story for Wednesday wouldn't be going to a school of outcasts, it would be going to a normal school. The 90s movies did it way better.
