@deepwithgod: Religion’s number one tool is fear. Fear of hell. Fear of sin. Fear of punishment. Fear of not being “enough.” But truth is fear was never God. Fear was the control system. Fear was the illusion. When you actually have a true connection with Source, you realize you don’t need fear to respect, love, or connect with God. Fear separates, love unites. Think about it..if you had a mother or father who loved you unconditionally, would you need to fear them in order to trust them? Of course not. You’d feel safe, you’d draw closer. That’s how it is with God. Religion thrives on unconscious submission. But awakening shows you the truth: God is unconditional love, freedom, and direct connection. You don’t need a middleman. You don’t need fear. I laugh now when people say “you’re going to hell” or “God is angry with you.” No, what they’re really saying is that they’re still trapped in a system built on fear.
