My mom died from sepsis in April and I’m so hurt. I’m so tired of crying about it. I really don’t even know how to process it because it was so sudden and so fast I hated to see my mom suffer just to move her and change her hurt her so bad because I guess it makes their whole body hurt..

I went to urgent care because I thought I had this. They didn’t even do bloodwork. They just checked me out asked me questions to check my heartbeat and said I was fine.

Doctors do not want to be bothered if you have sepsis, especially down in South Carolina. I am a witness to it they will not treat you.

I knew my symptoms after a couple of sepsis. Soon I hit the ER I mentioned sepsis and they did bloodwork and sure enough I was admitted.

And it seems once you get it once it is easier to get it again. I got it my first time from a migrated stint in the kidney after kidney stone removal went into kidney failure and they said I was a day if I was lucky from death. Then I got it two more times from flu I guess and I guess because the flu I also had a dissection from coughing too hard. This last time it was from pneumonia
