They poked a hole in my spine, I leaked spinal fluid and was paralyzed for DAYS until the blood patch held in my spine.

5 pregnancies. 6 kids. Longest labor was with twins which ended up 24 1/2 hrs of labor. No epidural or c-section with any of them. Everyone is different. Have the birth YOU want.

Mine worked on half my body..then they gave me versed and I could hear and feel everything but just so disoriented 😭it was awful and I had 3rd degree lacerations. Tore almost to my a$$hole 9lb6oz

You don’t get a medal for doing it naturally 😂 take what you can 👌🏼 my epidural didn’t work and I had to be put to sleep for c section 🥺 was horrible not having those first moments with my boy 💙

Epidural never worked on me, but I also didn’t feel my contractions. I had back labor pains. 28 hours in labor and it ended in c section. My baby’s heart rate kept dropping during my contractions

It doesn’t take the pain for me, it allowed my body to relax to contract. I went from 6 to 10 in minutes after 24 hours of labor.

My first epidural I couldn’t feel contractions but felt all the pressure. My second epidural I couldn’t feel anything. I didn’t know when it was time to push and I couldn’t feel my legs.

Omg I felt the ring of fire too and I’m guessing my 4th degree tear. It was awful and after pushing 3 1/2 hrs. I honestly didn’t think I’d have another baby after that trauma. 2nd one had an emergency c section 😭
