@johnridgeway: medical bills being as high as they are makes absolutely NO SENSE & in my opinion it’s just a way to ensure people stay sick & in debt.. #johnridgeway #medicalbills #debt #bigpharma #fyp

and then if you miss work because of being sick, you don't get paid. so you literally can't afford to be sick.

I don’t want this to be true, but sometimes I genuinely believe that the way the system intentionally destroys and shortens lives is game for the elite as in they find pleasure in it. They are sadists more or less.

It's a sly form of eugenics. The groups of people who cannot afford align with many other stats. Our culture is super nasty, just as you mention.

Yes. Black people. It’s only an issue now because yt people thought they’d always be able to pay and now they can’t afford it either. Every trap they set for us is what they fallin into now

I have only had insurance from 1 of my jobs. It was when I was 19. I'm 43 now. I haven't had any female care since I had my second child at 23. So 20 years. I refuse to support the medical field. Even if I had a heart attack I wouldn't go. I'd rather die than owe 250k for heart surgery. I don't care anymore. I do as little as possible to support the system.

Spina bifida is a type of neural tube defect (NTD) where the spine and spinal cord do not develop properly during early pregnancy (usually within the first 28 days after conception). ⸻ Types of Spina Bifida 1.	Spina bifida occulta •	Mildest form •	Small gap in the vertebrae, spinal cord remains inside •	Often asymptomatic; may show a tuft of hair, dimple, or birthmark on the back 2.	Meningocele •	Meninges protrude through the vertebral defect forming a fluid-filled sac •	Spinal cord usually intact •	Neurological impairment is less common 3.	Myelomeningocele (most severe) •	Meninges and spinal cord protrude through the vertebral defect •	Associated with significant neurological problems: •	Paralysis/weakness of lower limbs •	Bladder and bowel dysfunction •	Hydrocephalus (fluid buildup in the brain) •	Orthopedic deformities (clubfoot, scoliosis) ⸻ Risk Factors •	Folic acid deficiency (main preventable cause) •	Family history of NTDs •	Maternal diabetes, obesity, anticonvulsant drugs (e.g., valproate, carbamazepine) •	Hyperthermia in early pregnancy ⸻ Diagnosis •	Prenatal screening •	Maternal serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) elevated •	Ultrasound: detects spinal defects and hydrocephalus •	Amniocentesis: high AFP, acetylcholinesterase •	Postnatal: physical exam, MRI/CT spine ⸻ Management •	Prenatal: •	Maternal folic acid supplementation (400 mcg daily for general population, 5 mg daily if high risk, starting before conception until at least 12 weeks gestation) •	In some cases, fetal surgery can repair myelomeningocele before birth •	Postnatal: •	Surgical closure of the defect (usually within 48 hours for myelomeningocele) •	Ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt for hydrocephalus •	Multidisciplinary care: neurosurgeon, urologist, orthopedic surgeon, physiotherapy, rehabilitation ⸻ Prevention •	Folic acid supplementation (most effective measure) •	Periconceptional supplementation reduces risk by up to 70% •	Public health: folic acid fortification of flour/cereals in many countries #foryou #drshaguftanoor #drwaheedalam #foeyoupage
