@dlanemaselunastravel: Tuesday Travel Tip - Get cash in the local currency of where you are traveling before your trip! It’s always a good idea to have cash handy when traveling abroad. Once you are there I recommend only getting cash out at an ATM attached to a bank because the exchanges rates are much better. #traveltips #traveladvisor #europetravel #destinationtravel #foreigncurrency
Can you do a video of what you need to come to Europe like to Milan Venice Italy plz like visa

Credit Unions do not offer currency exchange. Just find the nearest bank when you get there that has a lobby ATM. Never use ATM's in stores or on the street

Most of the UK is cashless. I tried to tell my mom this. She took out £200. Came home with £134.

By the way, tipping in most European countries is optional…servers in restaurants work on a salary so ANY tip is an added bonus.

Most of Europe is moving to cashless. tour guides all have Venmo, and you don't tip at restaurants. I have been to Europe multiple times over the last few years and never have i needed cash.

Get an account with Charles scwab, fidelity or wise and get their atm card. They have debit cards that reimburses foreign and domestic atm fees. Do NOT do the conversion. Credit cards, no fee foreign cards and when use you card, have card in the local currency, not dollars

Don’t use the exchange rate from the atm. Take the funds in euro and let your bank do the exchange rate. My Charles Schwab has free unlimited atm rebates international

Fidelity cash management card = refunds all ATM fees and no foreign transaction fees. And good exchange rates.

We don't want to spend a bunch in fees when we get to Ireland, nor do we want to put everything on our credit card or open a new account somewhere else. Suggestions?
