Cucumbers are loaded with water, that’s perfect for summer and homegrown ones have a true special taste that you cannot find in supermarket ones. On top of the advice in this video, some more thoughts/help below : 🥒 I’m growing this year three heirloom varieties : Green Fingers, Mideast peace & Alexander Kaiser. 🥒 It’s late to start from seeds, but with a seedling from your local market, you can obtain cucumbers in around 2 months 🥒 Start with a rich soil with organic fresh compost, the plant need loads of nutrients. 🥒 If flowers are falling off, it means the soil needs to be nourished. If it’s dry & warm, that’s when they will show up & they can develop a massive colony sucking all the sap of your plants. So don’t wait, they are quite invasive. 💚 Apply the technique of soapy & slightly acidic water at sunset or sunrise but never in full sun. 💚 Always rinse & wash the plant after to not harm the leaves. 💚 Inspect the next day & repeat the process every two days if you see them again. 💚 In case of massive invasion, cut affected leaves and throw them away. 💚 If the technique does not work, the colony is too spread out.
