@pumpkin_bakery: Replying to @tr have you ever eaten chicken feet before? Know any good recipes? Chicken feet in black bean sauce recipe from @Made With Lau This was such an interesting recipe to make, lots of different cooking techniques to get to the final product. I would love to try some authentic Chinese dim sum to see how well I did with this. Give me some food ideas! What should I be trying? #foodies #FoodLover #cooking #foodtutorials
Pig ear is really good! It’s got a light crunch and tastes like bacon rind. You’ve inspired me to try feet! Tho I don’t like feet, so might have to get someone else to do the mani/pedi 😜

as a vegetarian, I respect when the whole animal is used and not wasted.

I kind of put chicken feet in the same category as mussels and clams, quite a lot of work for not a lot of food but to lots of people they're totally worth it. I'm not a cartilage girly so haven't given them a go yet myself

I've eaten a lot of "weird" foods- raw horse meat, chicken cartilage, kangaroo, alligator... crickets lol
I'm down to try most things but I'm also comfortable putting something down after 1 bite and knowing its not for me haha

Oh my God thank you so much for doing this. I’m Chinese and I get really frustrated when people for example century egg and they don’t prepare the right way and call it disgusting. We also make chicken feet boneless, and you can buy them in packets where they are marinated with spices.

I don't eat meat personally but I think it's good when people have ways to use every part of the animal they plan to eat!

i don’t see how chicken feet can be gross since it’s barely different to eating any other part of the chicken..?

My dad’s boss would send us an entire roasted baby camel, head and all, on a giant platter atop a mountain of rice every Eid. If you can get it, somehow, no idea how you’d do that here, camel meat is absolutely delicious. It needs a bezaar (not bazaar) marinade and to be served over rice with pickled carrots and chillies. There’s not much info about Emirati food online but I can give a vague recipe
