I always find it weird when US companies make Godzilla movies, as though Godzilla wasn't initially created to show the horror that is the nuclear bomb. Japanese Godzilla is about suffering and pain and the destruction of everything around. American Godzilla is "oh cool lizard that we took from Japan."
