Girl. this is NOT maple syrup. #Canadian here we call that, I guess, "post syrup" (sirop de poteau in french) maple syrup is good. this is not. can't tell about the drink though... but a lot of recipes call for soy sauce and maple syrup. maybe not as a drink though

I cook a lot of Japanese and Korean food at home. I add honey, sugar, or whatever sweetener to soy sauce all the time. If you cook them it’ll taste better.

it's supposed to be less than a splash of soy sauce and more maple syrup (we use simple syrup) its kinda like an old fashion for ppl who don't like bitters 🙍
