healthy time boundary: 2yrs dating, 1yr engaged. need to see the other person through all seasons in life twice, two Christmas, two summers, two winters, to recognize a pattern. honeymoon stage usually lasts at least 1yr. first major fight and conflict should happen within 2yrs, to learn each others' fight language, before getting engaged. the 1yr engaged is for planning, wedding savings, and to experience each other in planning a high stress event through a 3rd seasonal year.
