Preferring consumption to self sacrifice, and near term pleasures to a generational focus. So, who's crazy? Are we just more civilized now, our are we suffering from a "what's in it for me" type mentality. I'm choosing to stick with my natural desire to nurture life and thousands of years of ancient wisdom, as opposed to the "flavor of the week" culture of the modern era. I know I'm not alone in valuing family, we get stopped literally EVERYWHERE by people who want to tell us how happy they are to see our family. I just don't understand how I'm a rebel for prioritizing the value of family over stuff. Are you a modern day rebel and value family? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️ You are not alone Mama. In the trenches of motherhood make sure your children see the joy of your job. Let them see you smile. Enjoy life. Be proud of your role. We need to be the change, loving our family with all we have, and reminding them they are worth it.
