We are beautiful even when we feel broken. 💖 ✨Dating back to as early as the Jōmon period (14,000-300 BCE), broken areas were traditionally mended using lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold. 🧈 ✨Conjure up one-of-a-kind boo-spoke creation this Halloween season ✨Learn the art of Kintsugi and pick between a spooky themed piece or a traditional Japanese piece to hand mend ✨Our aim is to coat the cracks with two layers of paint. ✨If you aren’t able to finish these layers, you’ll be provided with gold paint to finish at home. ✨Bowls will be provided, but please feel free to bring a ceramic item (coffee cup/plate/pot) from home that is old/chipped/broken that you’d like to smash and repair. 🎨 ✨Note: This experience is not Kintsugi in the traditional sense.
