@kimberly.dowdell: I had no idea when I shared a reel of Jack walking into 7-Eleven to buy a Slurpee on his own that it would resonate with so many people. The messages from around the world cheering him on have left me completely speechless. Reading the comments has reminded me just how good people really are, and it makes me want to be the kind of person who’s always in someone else’s corner too. While we were on vacation, I got an email from a producer at ABC World News who wanted to interview me about the video and how it all came to be. We were shocked (and thrilled!) to find out they wanted to feature Jack’s story as part of their America Strong segment. Honestly, we’re still pinching ourselves. Jack has this gift—everywhere he goes, he shares joy and somehow attracts it right back. The minute the segment aired, my inbox was flooded with the kindest, most heartfelt messages. Thank you for celebrating with us, for supporting our family, and for making this space one filled with love and community. We’re so grateful to be on this journey with you 🩷 #kidsoftiktok #downsyndromefamily #smile #inclusionmatters #americastrong
