Good to hear that you have started like the infusions! I have been on mine for almost a year now, and I would like to think that they are helping me, I don’t feel that I’ve progressed much since I’ve started taking them. When I had my first one, my doctor suggested that I take some premeds along with it to help with some of the side effects that Usually will happen with at least the first one or few. I take Tylenol at home before I leave, and before the infusion, I get a bag of fluids and solumedrol, a steroid. Even though I did all this after my first infusion, I still got pretty sick that night and the next day. Like you said, headache, cold sweats, flu like symptoms and a slight fever. I’d like to say after three infusions I was able to not do the premeds however, recently I’ve been having headaches so my last one I did the premeds which seem to help the headaches. Hope everything goes well with yours! It sounds like you are at a pretty nice facility, mine are done at the hospital and the norm for me is 2 to 3 hours! Even my doctor, who is at a different hospital an hour and a half away thinks this is ridiculous because there they only take an hour.
