I always thought this ruling was such bullshit. Paying your employees more is investing in your company. Investing in your company causes it to grow. A bigger company makes more money for shareholders. This court decision NEEDS to be overturned.

Thank you for explaining the court case so well! However this was only a state court case. The Supreme Court never ruled on this issue and it is not the law of the land. Other States do not have to follow this ruling.
