80% of the time I ride in silence as well! That way you can hear if something is going wrong. If I do listen to music or podcast it’s for about 30 mins then I turn it back off lol. My wife and brother think I’m crazy

Same thing happened to me ….. it was my stainless steel tea pot tapping on the back seatbelt . It scared me I was wondering how much is this going to cost me.😳

I've been there, severalnhours deep into what I think is the issue and then it smacks me in the face. Just have to spend the next hour or so getting everything put back together. 🙄

My truck is a daily driver and on my to work and on the way home I listen to the traffic report then total silence. If I’m off work I just drive in silence. I know exactly how everything should sound at all times, startup, cold , hot ,cruising down the highway, idle, etc…

ran over a piece of metal roof tape once. blam, blam, blam. pull over looking for a blown tire. tires look fine. go again. blam, blam, blam. stop again. the tape was behind my tire just long enough to slap the wheel well and sounded just like a blown tire. lol
