My son is eight, and I had literally kept everything he ever touched along with both of my daughters. My husband has been trying to get me to get rid of things for seven years. I just went through stuff this summer and got rid of like half of it, but it was hard.

With my first kid I kept EVERYTHING I hoarded so much thinking it is value with memories. I learned over the years how to manage that feeling. The amount of baby stuff, toys, clothes or anything I got rid of it CRAZY. I looked at the blankets I pulled out of storage and was like why would I keep these? They actually hold no value to me personally.

Trust me when I say is exhausting and tiring! My husband hoards on damn everything and im a minimalist i keep it cool but then my anxiety hits and I get so overwhelmed and resent him for not trying to be more organized or letting go of things that literally are not necessary
