Day 5 – Water Fast Update 💧🌴 Hey everyone, still rolling in Tulum at Kan Tulum. Today felt quieter than yesterday. Energy is more even, the constant hunger noise is completely gone, and that full-body puffiness keeps shrinking a little more each day. The blah/achy feeling from earlier in the week has dialed back quite a bit—extra magnesium, a potassium boost, and pushing water toward 4–5 liters is making a real difference. Electrolytes really are carrying me through these mid-fast adjustments. Quick snapshot of where the body is at on day 5: Glycogen is history, ketosis is locked in, fat is the main fuel, and autophagy (that deep cellular house-cleaning) is running strong. Inflammation continues to drop, clarity is starting to sharpen, and a lighter, smoother rhythm is emerging after the rougher early days. Officially past the 3-day minimum and still committed—this reset is delivering exactly what I came for after February’s all-out vacation mode. Grateful for the calm jungle surroundings; the cenote and pool are always just steps away when the mood strikes. If you’ve gone beyond day 5 on a water fast, what shifted for you around this point?
