It’s funny bc I was 14 when I discovered the show and I became obsessed with it. Wanting to be held and comforted like the way Olivia Benson treated all of the girls was the reason I kept watching. I craved that so deeply. I think I thought this type of hug would heal me. It’s crazy to realize as an adult that it’s all bc my mom has never been able to be a present nurturing mom.
