I saw the post and wow was it disgusting. What stands out to me is that they were bullying you for something that I (and I know others) totally admire you for… being new at something!!! I wish I could put myself out there and try new things with the enthusiasm you show up with. It’s so cool and it’s such a strength of yours that you try stuff out and go for anything you’re interested in. Remember that. It is very obvious where that energy came from and it’s within them and what they see in you, that we as a larger audience admire, twisting some kind of issue THEY have. Life is short and not that serious. We should all aim to play in life a little more. So sorry they ruined it for you. Well done for listening to yourself but don’t let it stop you in future from trying something else new and fresh and exciting!

being bullied as an adult is so important to talk about. I was lucky I gues, I'd never experienced bullying, until I was in my late 30's. There I was a soon to be mum of 4 experiencing horrific bullying in the work place by a new boss. I didn't even recognise it for what it was until I was at the gp for stress related illness and he called it what it was. I didn't handle it well and ended up walking away from the profession I loved. It's taken me years to get past the anger. I did file a report with HR once I'd had my baby and that person not long after left the company. I was so mad at myself for not standing up against it.
