We are here in north Myrtle Beach 8/28/25, these are littered on shore and almost appear to be glass, fiberglass shards, will stick in your feet like a needle if sliding feet in sand. Been here 27 years in August, never ever experienced this: Possibly destroyed homes during Erin, in North Carolina.

early morning late evening before dark, they are feeding. avoid water at these times. Florida deals with this every year. probably came in with hurricane
