or for some reason thinking that it was a good idea, the brand new overnight cleaning crew decides to plug the vacuum into battery protected array. there's nothing like watching alarms blaze, computers turn off and then a vacuum cleaner suddenly stopping with the janitor going damn it. yeah that's happened multiple times

nah for me when a system goes down the first thing I do is run 'uptime' if I see seconds or minutes against the uptime value I do this 😞 the IT user who did the research forgot to take that server out of the pool or remove the ip from the firewall/ load balancer
