My boss used to take his first dates to mid restaurants like Chili’s etc. If she complained he bounced and he was a millionaire. He wanted to make sure they were not there for money.

A man did that to me once. He had some BS story about how he lost it the night before, he just had to go pick it up where he left it. & instead of cancelling the date, asks me to pay when we’re there. I paid the bill and refused to date him again. This man was sending me copies of pay stubs telling me he really did forget his wallet and I just said, thank you, next.
