I once called someone with faecal vomit into resus, they didn’t believe us when we got there and were planning on bouncing us out (we were POA) until he faecal vommed EVERYWHERE!!! They soon changed their mind! Resus never believe us neenaa folk 😅

That happened to me last year. Badly broke my ankle and was overdosed on opiates, my system backed up and I ended up vomiting faecal matter…… Absolutely horrible experience…

Yes my poor father in law had colostomy and ileostomy, reversal unsuccessful, vommed up his own poop all over my flat when I was 9 months pregnant. He had to be ambulanced to a&e and I had to clean up. I’m emetophobic. The TRAUMA! At the same time my next door neighbour who we hadn’t seen for weeks had bluebottles buzzing round his door and THAT SMELL… yes, he had indeed passed. Police had to break down his door. I then had a baby. It was a revolving door of emergency services. Halcyon days!

my bowel didn't twist. tumor compressing it and a small amount of constipation causes obstruction. got home yesterday from another 5 day hospital stint, while it resolved. 2nd time ive had the ng tube, they didnt numb my throat this time and I did vomit a lot. instant relief, like everything came up but by that point there wasnt much to come up. just the water I was sipping to swallow the tube, and a bit of gas, it was bubbly as hell. 1st time, they numbed my throat and it wasnt pleasant but it was hell of a lot easier. if you dont numb the throat, please start from now on 50% easier, the same spray as an endoscopy, and sip water on a straw. they tried 2x on friday, 1st I hadnt eaten or drank for 32hours, I had no saliva so swallowing wasnt working, it came out my mouth and i was trykng to say not in but they thought it was, so i was gagging and crying for 20seconds. then a nurse found a straw which the 1st said she couldn't find 🙄 and a smaller gauge tube. 3rd stay this year... got to be careful, if I go in again, they want to give me a stoma 😱😭 im lucky so far not to have needed surgery. for my theres a start of a kink with the tumor twisting as it grows, if 1 bit of food gets stuck, it builds over a week maybe 2 without any symptoms other than constipation(which i have with this all the time anyways) , thats it, im in hospital again. its earily weird, how i have something happen and within days you make a video about a similar occupance.
