I'm not saying Conrad was right for what he did but he only did it bc he learned about Cabo and spiraled and Belly was kinda giving him mixed signals before that. Thats why he brought up the surfboard incident, Michael's, and Christmas to her in the kitchen bc he could sense she felt the same way he did. I'm sorry but if she was fully invested in Jeremiah none of those moments would have matter. She had been having lingering feelings for Conrad since their Christmas spent together and Jeremiah clocked her about it. Conrad is partially the blame for this mess but I definitely don't think he's all of the blame. I'm not saying Steven was wrong for this either but he also doesn't have all the information either. He doesn't have the whole Cabo story or about Belly almost kissing Conrad or the fact that she's been having doubts about this wedding. She only told him what Conrad did. They are all in the wrong.

Idk it feels weird to admonish him for expressing his feeling when the main critique of the dude is how he doesn’t express his feelings. But I kind of wish Steven and Conrad had it out more in this scene bc Steven should feel rightful angry at Conrad, but for abandoning their friendship. With the whole Cabo thing, that isn’t the reason. That’s the straw that broke the Camels back. Conrad felt Jer was offering absolute love and fidelity therefore it wasn’t his place to say anything, but once he knew about Cabo, he felt the true “why” behind the marriage was off. Conrad & Belly both felt the emotional pull of one another. Jer said it best Belly wasn’t marrying him bc she completely loved him, she was marrying him to erase Conrad. But realistically, all these characters need time and space to work on themselves. Jer needs to find his passion, self-reliance and self-esteem, Belly needs to see the world and love herself more, and Conrad needs to nurture his friendships, social scaffolding and to stop using his dumb defense mechanisms.

everyone's blaming jere for hooking up with a girl after they broke up while Steven and Taylor have been cheating on each other's partners and there's no one to say a single bad thing about them is frying me. You people just want to hate jere nothing else 😂. Steven and Taylor's chemistry looks good to you and because of that you are rooting for them despite the fact that they both are cheaters. If Conrad had done something like jere did, you bonrad shipper would have said something like "he would never do that" "he was emotionally unstable" "his mother was dying" 🙄. bfr they clearly said they had broken up, so it doesn't count as a cheating, yes what he did was wrong but belly have been cheating jere emotionally too. It's just all of you know that bonrad is the end game and are blinded by that. Who would want an emotionally unavailable, zero communication skill over the person who is good to you emotionally and can communicate. Jere might be a little immature but confessing "undying love" before the night of the marriage is not mature either. If jere has done the same thing as Conrad did, you guys would have bullied him and bad mouthed him. This is clearly insane
