Their friendship was not at all surface level. Taylor wrote songs, with her children and herself/Ryan involved in her music. What Blake did, was betrayal and cut deep.

It definitely wasn’t surface level. Taylor is the godmother to her children and wrote songs with their names in it. That’s why she feels so hurt that her close friend would try to use her as leverage.

They’ve been friends for over a decade. TS is a godparent to BL’s kids and has their names in her songs. The beginning voice in “gorgeous” is also one of BL’s kids. Their friendship was not “surface level.” It ended over a huge betrayal. BL was going to die on this hill and wanted to take everyone else down with her.
