Teresa Collins :
The hash brown casserole is amazing. Everything is delicious and tastes like it came fresh out of granny’s kitchen. Everything is made from scratch.

A Fox 5 viewer sent in this video of a raccoon cleverly snatching a birdfeeder in the middle of the night. The homeowner says this happened several times before the raccoon was caught in the act.

Processed food is basically any food that’s been altered from its natural state for convenience, taste, shelf life, or appearance. That includes things like chips, instant noodles, sugary cereals, packaged snacks, sodas, and even some ready-to-eat meals or fast food. Not all processing is automatically bad — freezing vegetables or pasteurizing milk, for example, helps with safety and preservation — but the problem starts when it becomes ultra-processed. Ultra-processed foods are usually high in added sugars, unhealthy fats, salt, and artificial additives. They’re designed to be hyper-palatable, which means they can easily override our natural hunger cues, making us eat more than we actually need. Over time, regular consumption of these foods has been linked to a long list of health issues: obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, digestive problems, even depression in some studies. They’re also often low in real nutrients, so even if they make you feel full, you’re not actually getting the vitamins, minerals, and fiber your body needs. And it’s not just about physical health — processed food changes how people relate to food in general. It encourages mindless eating, a dependence on convenience, and can even dull our taste for fresh, wholesome ingredients.
