@fitgreenmind: DISH OF THE MONTH: Fellah köftesi 🇹🇷 What should be the next dish I should try? 😌👇 Today we have little Turkish bulgur sauce in a flavorful tomato sauce, served with yogurt… shaping them was a bit of work but overall I’m SUPER happy with th result and they were DELICIOUS! 😋 How did I do? 😇 RECIPE (3 servings, 1h prep time): -1 Cup (150g) bulgur -1/2 Cup (75g) semolina -2/3 Cup (150ml) water -a pinch of salt Combine everything and let it sit for 15mins. Then knead 2-3mins and shape into little balls or discs. Cook in water for 5-7mins until they float to the top (but prepare the sauces beforehand) Sauce: -4 Tbsp olive oil -1 Tbsp tomato paste -2 cloves garlic Stir fry 1-2mins. -1/2 Cup (120g) tomato sauce -salt and pepper to taste -3 to 4Tbsp water Bring to a light simmer and let it cook for 10mins. Then stir in the cooked bulgur balls. Yogurt sauce: -1/2 Cup (120g) vegan yogurt -a handful fresh mint -a squeeze of lemon Stir to combine and serve with the köftesi. Afiyet olsun.
Sauce: * 4 EL Olivenöl * 1 EL Tomatenmark * 2 Knoblauchzehen (gehackt)
→ 1–2 Min. anbraten. * 1/2 Tasse (120 g) Tomatensauce * Salz & Pfeffer nach Geschmack * 3–4 EL Wasser
Alles leicht köcheln lassen (ca. 10 Min.), dann die Bulgur-Bällchen unterrühren. Joghurt-Sauce: * 1/2 Tasse (120 g) veganer Joghurt * 1 Handvoll frische Minze * Ein Spritzer Zitrone
Alles verrühren und mit den Köftesi servieren. Afiyet olsun 🫶 #EasyRecipes #vegancooking #veganfood #veganrecipes #turkishpasta

“Which require patience and finesse, two things which Maya does not possess”. This burn from her mom! 🤣 Clearly not true given everything we’ve seen.
