True story. I went out there several years ago and walked through the slave cemetery. Smelled random country cooking. If you've ever been out there, you know there's no home near this place. I was creeped out.

We go every year around Halloween and 3 years ago, my son and I were in the Old Cemetery and I saw a man in old overalls walk straight across the street and disappear. It was the craziest thing! We were the only people in the park at the time according to the front desk.

The capital was Tuscaloosa for about 20 years and was moved to Montgomery in 1846
