@murzbo: motion sensitive plant known as the Mimosa pudica, also known as the sensitive plant, is a flowering plant in the pea family that's known for its rapid movement in response to touch or disturbance. Its compound leaves quickly fold inward and droop when touched, shaken, watered, or deprived of sunlight, reopening a few minutes later. This rapid closure is a defense mechanism against herbivores and is called seismonastic movement. #mimosapudica #PlantTok #plants #botany #planttiktok
