Tom: to deal with the maize/corn issue in Africa; is there a variety of maize that is NOT sweet corn that can be used for human consumption? I ask because in Africa we definitely dont eat sweet corn, we eat maize. And that's the reason why people around here feel like you have just called us all livestock (on a very light note here). you might need to do a follow up video on that.

So you don’t do anything more accurate like using a koster moisture tester to get an average dry matter across the field? A lot of guesswork for the value of the crop

Where there has been no rain the maize plants are dying , and the cobs are falling off . So that’s why some have gone earlier than others .

had some sweet corn growing in the garden seams way off harvesting still but moat plants have a second cob growing after finally getting some decent rain
