Been here 20 years. Can’t imagine living anywhere else. Love the weather, the seasons, the beach is nearby, and the mountains are 2 hours away.

i think the biggest perk about CLT and NC as a whole that nobody mentions as much is the accessibility to other cities and states. you can be at the beach, mountains, or the next state in less than 5hrs. We're literally the midpoint of the east coast!!

You had me at "I was gonna say great, but absolutely not" 🤣 I'm one of the few Charlotte OGs. Been here my whole life, and unlike most OGs, I love that people move here. It makes traffic and higher costs for sure, but the fact that there's so much more to do, and so much more diversity than when I was a kid is a breath of fresh air. Everyone come, especially if you're bringing food with spices 🤤

Finally, someone said they’re excited about people moving to Charlotte! It’s so nice to see people welcoming us this year. Before, all we kept hearing was that the city was already full and that we shouldn’t come. It was really disheartening to read that, so this feels so refreshing.✨

Ugh yes! I’m so tired of hearing nothing but negative things about Charlotte! I love the Charlotte always has something new going on: new stores, new coffee shops, new restaurants, new events, etc! I love change and CLT keeps us on our toes always!✨

Charlotte used to be so clean and safe. I remember when people used to keep uptown so clean. Workers wiped brass doors every day. It was so safe. I worked with some Hollywood people on a movie shot here. They were amazed at how clean it was. They all said it’s the prettiest city they have seen. It’s not that way now. So yes, we need to Make Charlotte great again.

I wish I would of known that the streets aren’t really lit. And the roads are very narrow. Otherwise we like SouthEnd, Ballantine & all the pretty good restaurants near Uptown
