I am 3 weeks post tomorrow. The pain hasn’t been bad, but definitely emotional part is awful. Did you stay flat? I did. And I’m so sad.

How are you 5 days post-op and cleared to shower and I’m 2 weeks post-op and still not cleared to shower only sponge bath.?!?!

I’m two months out. It’s exhausting both physically & mentally! I was thrilled when I could put deodorant on by myself! Good luck.

Thank you for sharing. I’m so sorry you are going through this. I was diagnosed on July 8th this year and have my bilateral mastectomy scheduled for next Thursday. I also have kids, (8amd 10), and completely understand what you mean by the emotional toll. The emotional roller coaster has been the hardest part. Stay strong! Us women are badasses and can get through it together. 💕💪🏼

Im 11 months post double mastectomy. I remember all this so well! Hang in there… it gets MUCH easier! Especially after the drains are removed. Sending hugs and prayers! 💕💪

Just found you today and very grateful for your shares. Dbl mast w/o reconstruction coming soon. I’m an emotional mess. Fresh widow on top of it. This has been a horrible year.
