one time my son told me he was "walking away from home." he left without any rations and headed into a cul de sac. kids these days are soft. when I tried to run away I took a change of clothes and snacks at least.

I once ran away to my aunts down the road, I also once had my grandma come pick me up and did not tell my mother she realized an hour after I was gone, I also once ran away to our woods in my secret spot I was there for 4 hours relaxing the whole time she was looking but it was a really good spot

Man I was getting yelled at can't remember what I went outside just to you breath and collect my thoughts. My uncle thought I was running away I'm like where would I run away to Mom tracks my phone, I live in the swamp I don't wanna meet Smokey the bear and his Coyote friends. Like where would I run away to I'm surrounded by swamp, creeks, and fields none my friends live near me besides one which lives across the creek and I'm not try to get bit by a copperhead or meet Smokey and his friends. I never said I'd runway as a kid because I was taught stranger danger and was terrified of a stranger danger instances happening.

I ran away once, but actually did it. I packed a small bag and walked about a mile and a half before the gas station lady I usually saw stopped and offered me candy. little did I know she distracted me long enough for my dad to come get me. I squealed all the way home crying until i passed out 😂
