As a European man who lives in the US, I tried, I really tried, I gave it a chance. I watched pro football and college football, but no, I couldn’t get into it no matter what, and it was mostly because of the unbelievable amount of time where nobody is doing anything and we all sit and wonder if the next play is going to start today.

I will never, ever call football bad. It's the best. The line up and the anticipation makes it tense on a level that is not even remotely matched in any other sport. Its more strategically diverse than any other major sport and more violent. It's a perfect game

Football is exciting because you never know when an incredible play will occur. IMHO, most other sports are boring because while there is more “activity”, it is predictable. NFL football is not predictable. But that’s just me.

It’s just officiating that is bad. If you watched a clean game it’s about 41 minutes of intense action and amazing feats of skill and IQ. You just have to find refs who will let them play the sport as it was meant. Watch the 1988 Super Bowl and get back to me
