Most research shows this is an overblown effect. Unless cardio and weight lifting are within 24 hours of each other, AND the cardio is fairly intense for over an hour, the effect is fairly minimal. Exceptions include athletes at the professional level.

I do a 45 min of fasted cardio with incline for 10 min and running for 15 and back to incline for the rest of the 45. I do another outside walk at the end of the day after my last meal which is about 7 miles
