@_animaltemple: Tarsiers are adorable and sensitive little creatures. Even the larger tarsier species don’t exceed 150g. Their eyes are huge to allow in enough light to see in the dark, but they lack a reflective layer which many nocturnal animal species have. This combination makes flashes of light blinding for them and extremely stressful. They’re easily stressed in general, with even loud noises causing fatalities. #animal #zoology #tarsier #primate
