I used UWM until there rates went haywire. They had the best rates depending the economic time period, and they make quick closing easy which most companies can’t do. UWM can do a 14 day close with no issues. Also they give discounts on pmi. I thought they were a pretty good company. Are you a loan officer?

I’m doing my first loan with UWM in a while. Needed a faster close where I could have common sense convo w/ underwriter. Loan started with Rocket & I’m rescuing it from them.

And they heavily court realtors. I was personally invited to one of their big shindigs. I was a new agent with like one deal under my belt. They were already trying to get their hooks in me. I didn’t get far enough to find out if they would send me business quid pro quo. Because I am not Building a business that way. Bottom line they gave me the ick.

The problem with Rocket Mortgage is their costs are insane. One of my clients used them and I saw her paperwork including mortgage fees and surprise - Rocket built in about $4k in bs fees. She was pretty smart, but they bury things and don’t line item out their mortgage cost plainly. It really pissed me off. I didn’t see it in advance. I could’ve at least told her to shop around.
