I live in Switzerland and had exactly 2 cervical checks during pregnancy - at 7 and 10cm. No one does them here unless you're in labour😲

I had a cervical check at 36 weeks it was so painful. I wouldn’t let them do another one until I was over 40 weeks. It was with a different provider and it didn’t hurt at all! I think some of them are just way too rough

I just declined all mine until I was in labor and then I was 8cm. Didn’t want anyone elbow deep until it was absolutely necessary
