I understand what you're saying and you have a good heart but "Help" has been dragged through the mud it's Ultimately condescending. It happened with Aunt Jemima, Red Skins football team "They aren't heard " "I'm using my voice cause it's wrong" when in fact no one wanted those changes. Again tho I know your heart is in the right place ☺️just throwing some more explanation

I fully respect taking on the burden and applaud you for doing so; all I’m saying is the older I am the less I expect activism from others. Not saying you’re radical or I disagree with anything said. My advice however is that you’ll find more happiness when you make room for imperfect people in your life. Some people have other priorities than activism; I don’t expect a young or single parent for example to have energy. Instead I hope all just do our part without judgment. And as much as you say you don’t judge non politically active people - saying you wouldn’t be their friends is a way to place yourself above them. No shade at all but activism comes from a place of privilege and it’s okay that not everyone takes it as seriously. Honestly even people just too depressed to do something, they deserve compassion and friendship despite their failings is all I’m saying. Coming from an older version of this same logic -don’t close yourself off so much!!

i dont even see it as a burden to bear. i would feel better about my taxes if they helped the community and those in need. i would love to help people and make sure everyone is taken care of and nobody goes without. and in the system i would like...there would be no taking advantage because everyone gets it. from a millionaire to the poorest person would get all the same benefits and taxed at the same rate
