I think everyone cares about schools and the loss of thousands of children. I don’t think “care” is isolated to one political party. I think a lot of people just don’t have the means to do anything about it let alone know exactly what steps to take in order to achieve a specified goal which would be in your examples “saving children”. I think the governments goal is to divide and by isolating political parties.. you’re helping them now more then ever. I don’t know but that’s just my two cents.

Sandy Hook was the end of the gun control debate in this country.. Once we decided it was okay for elementary school students to die, we lost the plot.. There has been 1 mass shooting in Australia since 1996 after the government enacted the mandatory assault weapons buy back program.
