@startribune: Community members are tying ribbons around trees near Annunciation Church in south Minneapolis, where two children were killed in a shooting Wednesday morning. The shooter injured 17 people, 14 of them children. The shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene, police said. Follow live updates at the link in our bio. As a kid who goes to a catholic high school half an hour away from the church this is petrifying. We should not be terrified to walk into school or church. Those “thoughts and prayers” don’t mean anything. They were literally praying. It is about time that something changes. Thank you to anyone who is speaking up or doing something like this.
