@coachdanblewett: Slowpitch softball gloves ARE different than baseball outfield models of the same size. But just how different are they? Thanks to @JustGloves @justbats for sending me this awesome glove to work with!
A baseball glove doing two in the pinky will close completely around it. Slow pitch manufacturers don't have the quality of Wilson and Rawlings premium gloves either.

That’s crazy there’s a glove bigger than a 12” for baseball. I play slopitch and use a 12”. In infield so, I need the smaller glove. But, really. I can’t believe how big the gloves get

Class D outfielder and I do not close my glove most of the time. The pocket matters. 13.5 glove and I hold a two finger pinky loop on my glove. Adds so much more pocket to your glove.

Why would you label those as mitts when they are gloves? Gloves have individual fingers, mitts don't.

Rigged for Adventure :
I find that Wilson is a narrower glove. Rawlings has a wider palm like the Miken does, but yes Slowpitch do tend to have a deeper pocket.

I will never switch to a softball my baseball glove is an absolute magnet. No need for a bigger pocket when you catch everything in the pocket.

I personally use baseball models. when I play 3rd base I use a 11.75 inch Nakona, 12.75 Rawlings Hayward model for outfield and a Rawlings Rizzo model at 1st.

During the Time that I Played SlowPitch, I Used 13’or14’ as an Outfielder/1st Baseman. As I Aged and Started to Pitch I Transitioned into a 12.5 because the Pocket was Smaller, but I like the Ball stuck in there Better. And “At Times” the Larger Mitt would Crumble/Lose Its Shape on Harder Linedrives thru the Box.

I use an 11.75" baseball glove in the infield for slow pitch and love it. never understood the need for huge slow pitch gloves in the infield. I could see the benefit for outfield I guess, though.

Broken fingers can become an issue with baseball models also. Broke my pinky finger multiple times playing 3rd and Ss with baseball glove playing against high level players. Hasn’t happened since switching to same size in a slow pitch cut glove

I’ve used my 13” hardball glove and my 11.25” glove as well, definitely the 13” is way better but I made do with the smaller

baseball, shallow pocket, easier to get ball out, better feel, still used 12.5 for big ball league, 14 inch too
