We flash freeze them so that we can have these as healthy options to make during the week. #EasyRecipe #chicken #cutlets #airfryer ✍🏼 Ingredients • 4 chicken breast cutlets • ½ cup flour • 4 large eggs • 1–2 tablespoons deli mustard • Seasoned panko bread crumbs (enough to coat all cutlets) • Seasonings to taste: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and a little Kfred (or your favorite seasoning blend) • Olive oil spray ⸻ ‼️FREEZE FOR 2 HOURS, THEN REPACKAGE FOR BUSY WEEK NIGHTS 👩🏻‍🍳 Instructions 1. Prep the chicken • Butterfly the chicken breasts and pound them out until thin. • Season both sides with salt and pepper. 2. Set up dredging stations • Shallow plate #1:#1lour mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. • Shallow plate :#2ggs whisked with deli mustard. • Shallow plate :#3easoned panko bread crumbs. 3. Coat the chicken • Dip each cutlet in flour, shaking off excess. • Dip into the egg mixture, coating fully. • Finally, press into the panko crumbs until well coated. • Shake off extra crumbs and repeat with all cutlets. 4. Air fry • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. • Spray the air fryer basket generously with olive oil spray. • Place cutlets in a single layer without crowding. • Spray the tops of the chicken with olive oil spray. • Cook for 12 minutes, flip, spray again, and cook another 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F). 5. Serve • Remove from air fryer and let rest for 2–3 minutes. • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, salad, or side dish. ‼️IF YOU MAKE THESE AND YOU DONT FREEZE THEM, ONLY AIRFRY 6 MINS. I make my son’s chicken strips this way. But I take it a step further and do a marinade of mayo (I know it sounds gross but it’s delicious), lemon juice and seasonings, and then bread it, and it’s the most amazing chicken strips.
