There’s nothing I’ve found as hard to accept as losing my 95yo parental figure. It feels really difficult and unfair that we only got 30 years together and our timelines on the planet didn’t overlap more, I struggle with accepting it. I keep a garden (badly, almost all my plants are dead) for him too. I don’t have any wise words, but I’m sorry, I see you, you’re not alone, and it’s not fair.

please take the time you need for yourself, we will absolutely be waiting here with open arms ❤️it's never easy to lose a loved one that you are so close with, and even though you think you're not the best at sewing (though I think you do fabulous work!), I love that you persist because you're doing it for the love of the craft and your grandmother and I think that's absolutely beautiful. I am glad you are continuing the series, as it will keep her Spirit alive and you'll continue to bring her pieces to life. and who knows? maybe one day the entire world will see her designs on display made by you somewhere ❤️
