@donaldsdoggiehave: few days ago, during the heavy rain in the RGV, this tiny little girl was found running the in the streets; soaked, scared, and searching for shelter. Thankfully, a kind person scooped her up and reached out, and because someone said yes to fostering her, we were able to say yes to helping her. Meet Lyra. She’s just 5 lbs, about a year and a half old, with skin issues and an abrasion on her eye. She’s already started treatment for both, and this weekend she’ll be getting her bloodwork, 4DX testing, and (if healthy enough) she will get vaccinated and spayed. Now we need our village.
