@thefitmamalife: I used to think sweating buckets in a class meant I was getting somewhere. OrangeTheory, F45, bootcamps… you name it, I was there. Because it felt good to walk out drenched, like I’d just burned off every calorie I ate that day. But here’s the thing nobody told me: you can do those classes for years and never actually change your body composition. Why? Because you’re avoiding the stuff that actually matters—slowing down, lifting heavy, building muscle, creating tension. So many of you are still in that cycle. You’re addicted to the sweat, but you’re frustrated because your body looks the same. And it’s not your fault—you’ve just been sold on “calories burned” being the only marker of progress. Cardio is a starting point. It’ll get you moving. But if you want that strong, toned, feminine body? At some point the strategy has to change.
