The banking system also made sure to segregate neighborhoods by not allowing poc to move in restricted areas. Times have changed but now it’s turned into a taboo of only really poor folks need it and should only live in areas that are deserving for poor folks. Just like the homeless seeing it makes it real but head I. The sand keeps people feeling a false sense of security.

I am from still segregated Wilcox County Alabama I have been learning this since I was Five.. spent my entire childhood in 21st Century Youth Leadership which was basically learning and understanding CRT.. I didn’t experience direct racism however until I started George Wallace Community College in Selma and that’s when I was like oh this is the racism I was taught about…🤦🏾♀️
